Instruction: Hat Platen (Hat Champ)

Hat platen expends Epson SureColor DTG printer’s potential even more. The hat champ prints on 5 panels, 6 panels and visors. Structured hats are possible, however, may require some printing stricks; running through a conveyor dryer or washing the hats may soften the structure for printing.

Pull the sweatband down under the platen. Push the top of the hat to the top point of the platen.

Tuck excess hat material under the platen. Pull gripper bar under platen and bring the clamp down and lock the magnets together.

The platen offers a printable area of 6″ x 2 7/8″.

Be sure to print on platen first to check the printable area.
