This component allows for the efficient emptying of the Viper XPT-6000 of fluids and is also responsible for maintaining pressure in the system. If polymers or contaminants get stuck in this valve it will allow fluid to flow through while the pump is running resulting in lower system pressure and poor spray patterns. A simple cleaning guide can be found here but sometimes a replacement is required. This is an original OEM replacement part.
