xTool Apparel Printer Plus

Print custom T-shirts, hats, bags and denim for your customers, and spend less of your week unclogging printheads. The xTool Apparel Printer Plus prints full-color DTF transfers and looks after its own heads: it helps keep the air around them humid, cleans them around the clock while it is plugged in, and seals them when the shop goes quiet.

Pick the Versatile or All-in-1 Bundle and the printer is paired with xTool's OS1 shaker oven, so one click takes a design from print to a baked transfer. You heat press it onto the garment. The Standalone package is the printer without the oven.

The Plus is xTool's update to its original Apparel Printer, built on more than 197,000 hours of real-world use and community feedback. The changes all aim at the same thing: more consistent printing with less hands-on upkeep.

Key Features

• Steady printing when the shop air is dry. A built-in humidifier switches on and off by itself to help keep the air around the printheads in range, and a dedicated sensor next to the heads picks up changes within seconds.
• White ink that is less likely to clog. The Plus adds an upgraded white ink damper, which xTool calls HydraFlow, and the printer stirs and circulates the white ink on its own.
• A slow weekend is easier on the heads. After 24 hours with no printing, the printer seals the printheads and keeps the nozzles moist with moisturizing liquid, which helps stop leftover ink from drying in them.
• Printhead care that runs while you do other work. Once it is plugged in, the printer cleans its heads around the clock, and you can start a cleaning from the app too.
• A blocked nozzle does not have to stop the job. An AI camera checks the nozzles with test prints and starts a cleaning. If a nozzle stays blocked, the printer covers for it with working nozzles while it prints. The same camera handles calibration.
• One click from design to baked transfer, with the OS1 oven. Together the printer and oven print and cut the film, powder it and bake both sides, so the sheet comes out ready to press.
• Say yes to more kinds of garments. Dual printheads print full color with a white layer, so designs work on any color of apparel across cotton, polyester, denim, canvas, spandex, nylon and more.
• Color set up before your first order. The printer comes with its G7 color curve already adjusted, so you are not tuning color by hand.
• Run it from your phone. In the xTool Studio app you can edit an image and send it to print with one tap, and check printer status, ink levels and alerts. Phone features work when your phone is on the same local network as the printer.
• Design, nest and print in one program. xTool's software includes an AI design generator, RIP, auto nesting and print layout, and runs on Android, iOS, macOS and Windows.

Compatibility & Requirements

• One-click print to bake needs the xTool shaker oven: the OS1 oven comes in the Versatile and All-in-1 Bundles, not in the Standalone package.
• Heat press: you heat press the finished transfer onto the fabric.
• Film: third-party film cannot be used with the OS1 shaker oven.
• Ink: xTool does not recommend third-party ink.
• Exhaust: xTool does not recommend its IF2 as an exhaust fan for this printer. The fumes contain glycerin.
• Phone app: checking status, getting alerts and sending jobs from your phone work on the same local network as the printer.

Care & Maintenance

• Keep it plugged in: the automatic printhead cleaning runs around the clock once the printer is plugged in.
• Idle days: after 24 hours without printing, wet capping seals the heads using moisturizing liquid. The app shows the moisturizer and waste ink tank status, so you can see when either needs attention.
• Stay on xTool ink: xTool does not recommend third-party ink.
